At HPAPP we are a vibrant and inclusive learning community with high aspirations for all our pupils. We aim to make sure through personalised learning that each child’s needs are addressed. Teachers are committed to meeting the needs of all our pupils and we have a strong team of additional learning support staff to draw on within the Academy.
Children joining us with little previous schooling or who are new to learning English are assessed on entry so that basic skills can be acquired. We work closely with a wide range of more specialised services to bring additional expertise into the academy for those children who need a modified curriculum or an individualised programme. As an example, our speech and language therapist works closely with our teachers to ensure early intervention secures accelerated progress for children in the Nursery and Reception Classes.
