Southwark Winter Of Food And Fun For Parents
This winter, the council is funding free holiday clubs for children and young people aged 4 – 16 years receiving benefits-related free school meals. There are 29 locations to choose from, and this year’s programme runs from Monday 22 December to Friday 2 January 2026 (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Each programme will provide:
- free, nutritious and tasty food everyday
- fun physical activity sessions
- a wide range of other exciting activities to suit different ages and personalities
- opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and their families

Spaces are limited, so please encourage any families eligible for the programme to book a place using the letter and flyer attached and by sharing this promotional video. Many schools do this by uploading it to a discreet part of the school’s website/parent portal and then signposting eligible families to this page, and/or by sending via email/text/WhatsApp to parents/carers.
